The band had their annual election of officers on Saturday May 15 2021, where Akilah Sykes was re-elected Captain for 2020/2021.
UWI Panoridim is a full steel orchestra. We aim to take the reach of steelpan music far and wide. The band is a non-profit cultural society of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica, under the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts (PSCCA).
